Full-time Monday -Friday 8am-5pm Duties/
Responsibilities:
1.
Maintains first point of contact for all entities and agencies that wish to obtain medical services with Oxford Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine for injuries and illnesses that will be covered by Worker's Compensation Insurance.
2.
Ensure that all necessary demographic information and billing information is obtained and properly documented for entrance into the OOSM practice management system.
3.
Schedule appointments with the appropriate provider once approvals have been obtained.
4.
Ensure completion of quick nurse note (see appropriate form) on day of service.
5.
Ensure that office note includes work status statement.
6.
Fax same day notes to designated case manager, employer and/or adjuster.
This includes:
cancellations, no shows, failure to complete testing, etc.
7.
Include documentation of all phone calls and pre-authorizations (see appropriate form).
8.
Maintain detailed documentation and organizational system of all worker's compensation cases in a manner approved by supervisor.
9.
Daily checking of the voicemail system and prompt return of phone calls to include any work comp patient needs 10.
Follow up phone calls to check the status of appointment approvals.
11.
Posting of all work comp payments.
12.
Work all denials and appeal denials as needed.
13.
Work aging in a timely manner.
14.
Perform any and all other duties assigned by Business Office Supervisor or Administrator.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
