(OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED) Assists patients with dressing and donning/doffing supportive devices such as braces, splints, and slings, before and after treatment Assists patients into or onto therapy equipment and monitors them for safety Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients practicing independent level exercises and functional activities under direction of professional staff Transports patients to and from treatment areas Cleans work area and equipment after treatment Inventories and requisitions supplies and equipment Performs clerical duties including answering the phone, processing referrals, scheduling appointments, maintaining files, processing charges, verifying insurance coverage, performing pre-authorization, typing/ transcribing, collecting co-pay / payment, and other various paperwork to ensure proper procedures are followed.
He/she must be able to deliver reports to physician offices when and if necessary.
Performs clinical duties including observing patients closely to prevent or diminish the effect of any unsafe activity, daily cleaning of the clinical site, developing and maintaining good rapport with co-workers, physician offices, insurance representatives, and other business contacts, assisting with laundry, and any other duties appropriate in the assistance of the therapist.
Assists with marketing projects and completes and processes all treatment and billing paperwork efficiently.
Other duties to include business and clinical/clerical tasks involving accounting, bookkeeping, company compliance, credentialing, public relations, professional recruitment, business development, assisting our accounting team, human resource duties and patient care duties.
Adheres to all federal and state laws Adheres to all company policy and procedures Any assigned duty that promotes safety, customer service, etc.
