8 Oxford, MS Oxford, MS Full-time Full-time $15 - $17 an hour $15 - $17 an hour Cambridge Station is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Assistant Property Manager for a luxury apartment-community in Oxford, MS.

Scope and Purpose Depending on the size of the property and situation, this individual may also be responsible for Leasing.
This individual is primarily responsible for assisting the Manager in the accomplishment of all tasks as outlined in the Manager's Job Description and performing the bookkeeping tasks for the property.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1.
Report directly to the Manager.
With the guidance of the Manager (in the absence of the Manager), has the authority to make decisions in an emergency situation.
2.
Post receipts, make deposits, and notify the home office of the same, according to the established schedule.
Be responsible for providing an explanation for delinquent and/or prepaid accounts.
3.
Process delinquent notices, returned delinquent items notices, and renewal notices and follow-up, as necessary.
4.
Walk apartments after delinquent notices are processed to verify for skips.
Process DA's for scheduled move-outs, skips, and or evicted apartments.
5.
Assist in completing weekly and monthly reports, formation, and distribution of monthly newsletter scheduling maintenance work orders, and inspect vacant apartments.
6.
Schedule preparation for vacant make-ready and repair work.
7.
Operate and maintain the upkeep of the computer if applicable.
8.
Provide assistance for Leasing and Marketing, as necessary.
9.
Answering telephones.
Remain familiar with the duties of all on-site personnel.
Inform Manager immediately if unable to perform any Assistant Manager or Leasing Consultant duties.
10.
Creative skills and being social media savvy are a huge plus.
11.
Staying up to date on Fair housing practices.
12.
Maintaining and updating excel spreadsheet logs.
Write-off logs, collection logs, college-turn pre lease log, renewal log etc.
Requirements:
1-2 years of residential management or leasing experience Experience using property management software, preferably Yardi/CRM Available to work weekends Able to walk the property, which may include climbing stairs High school diploma or equivalent Job Type:
